# Seasons Terminal: the full guide for agents

> Seasons is a Solana protocol whose token, $SEAS, pays its holders. Every $SEAS buy, sell and transfer pays a 10% tax; that income is paid out to "nodes": wallets holding 1,000+ $SEAS (Builders, paid weekly in $SEAS) or 10,000+ $SEAS (Directors, paid every Sunday and Wednesday in a basket of gold, bitcoin and dollars). The Seasons Terminal is the protocol's dashboard: network-wide figures for anyone, and a node's own payouts, tier and claims for a person signed in.

Site: https://fidelius.network. Short version: https://fidelius.network/llms.txt.

## Rules for agents

- Everything a visitor can see is public: read it from the JSON API below rather than the pages, whose figures load by script after the HTML.
- A person's own figures (their balance, payouts, tier, claims) need their own sign-in. The API has no per-wallet data by design: never ask for a wallet address in order to look it up here.
- You cannot sign in, sign a message or pay for anyone. Guide them through the steps in "How to do things on the terminal", quoting the labels they will see.
- Never ask for, or accept, a seed phrase or private key. Seasons never asks for one, and nothing on the terminal needs one.
- Payouts depend on trading volume and can fall as well as rise. Quote figures as of the snapshot time, and do not promise returns.

## How Seasons works

1. **Every trade pays 10%.** The Transactional Transfer Tax (TTT) takes 10% of every $SEAS buy, sell and transfer. The tax on buys and sells is the network's income, so it grows with trading.
2. **The YMS collects it.** The Yield Management System (YMS) runs the whole cycle. It gathers the income, checks which wallets qualify as nodes, and sizes every payout.
3. **SSYM lends it while it waits.** Between payouts the income waits in stablecoins. The Stakeholder Stablecoin Yield Module (SSYM), now in testing, lends them on Kamino and Jupiter Lend. Part of the interest is added to payouts, the rest grows its reserve and buys back $SEAS.
4. **YAV will put assets to work.** Coming next: Yield Asset Vaults (YAV) will run payout assets through DeFi strategies such as liquidity pools. Anyone can deposit for a fee, and part of what the vaults earn is added to payouts.
5. **Directors get the basket, straight to the wallet.** Before each payout the income is swapped into the basket: 30% gold, 30% bitcoin, 40% dollars. A wallet holding 10,000+ $SEAS is a Director node, and the basket lands in it every Sunday and Wednesday. Nothing to claim.
6. **Builders earn $SEAS every week.** A wallet holding 1,000+ $SEAS is a Builder node. It earns 80% of the network rate, paid in $SEAS from a subsidy pool, and claims it to the wallet each Sunday.
7. **Partner tokens come on top.** Partner projects can airdrop their own tokens to node wallets, on top of the yield: Directors by default, Builders sometimes. No lock-up and no custody: every payout stays in your own wallet.

## Nodes and tiers

There are two kinds of node, decided by the balance a wallet holds. One wallet is one node, whatever its size.

- **Builder**: 1,000–9,999 $SEAS. Earns $SEAS every week at 80% of the network rate, from a subsidy pool, and claims it each Sunday.
- **Director**: 10,000+ $SEAS. Receives the basket (30% gold, 30% bitcoin, 40% dollars) every Sunday and Wednesday, in proportion to its balance. Nothing to claim.

Within each kind, a tier is reached by holding its balance for its number of days (Builders also need a number of weekly claims); every tier below counts. Reaching one brings a badge (minted as an NFT for Directors), a one-off $SEAS bonus with the transfer tax covered, and 100,000 EXP. Tiers belong to the address for good; dropping below a tier's balance restarts its count. Days held are per wallet and private to the person, so the network-wide figures group nodes by balance, never by tier held. The seniority boost and EXP are a test and may change.

## API reference

Base: https://fidelius.network/api/public/v1 (the manifest, as JSON). none — public, rate limited by IP. GET only.

- Envelope: `{ data, meta }`; `meta` carries generatedAt, ttlSeconds, degraded and unavailable (the fields whose source is down).
- Errors: `{ error: { code, message, retryAfterSeconds? } }`, codes unknown_parameter, invalid_parameter, rate_limited, upstream_unavailable, internal_error.
- Rate limit: 120 requests a minute per IP overall, 60 per endpoint (market/chart 30); headers X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset, Retry-After.
- Unknown query parameters are rejected with 400 rather than ignored. Timestamps are ISO-8601 UTC strings; missing values are explicit null — keys are never omitted.

Definitions:

- **node**: A wallet holding at least 1,000 $SEAS: a Builder from 1,000, a Director from 10,000. One qualifying wallet is one node regardless of size; the relative size of a Director is expressed as weight = balance / 10,000. minSeasPerNode is the Director floor, kept under its historical name; minSeasPerBuilder is the Builder floor.
- **directors**: Wallets holding at least 10,000 $SEAS that received the most recent completed distribution. Paid Sunday and Wednesday in a basket of gold, bitcoin and dollars, in proportion to weight.
- **builders**: Wallets holding 1,000–9,999 $SEAS (treasury, contracts and blacklisted wallets excluded). Paid in $SEAS, claimed weekly. They carry no basket weight.
- **tiers**: Tiers within each kind need a balance held for a number of days (Builders also a number of weekly claims). Days held are per wallet and not published, so network-wide figures group by balance, never by tier held.
- **transfers**: Counts of $SEAS token_transfers rows. These are transfer records, not Solana transaction counts.
- **transferVolume**: On-chain $SEAS moved between wallets. Distinct from market.volume24hUsd, which is DEX trade volume.
- **season**: A named Inclusion Set era. Endpoints that name individual assets tag each row with a season id, because consecutive sets share no assets and only rows within one season are comparable. No epoch is ever withheld — every season is published, and totals across all of them are all-time.

## How to do things on the terminal

These are the steps a person takes, with the labels they will see on screen. You can't sign in, sign or pay for them. Walk them through it instead.

### Sign in or create an account

Open the terminal and press **Sign in** (top right, or in the hero on the home page). The **Sign in to Seasons** window offers four ways in. Any of them creates the account the first time, except a passkey.

1. **Continue with Google.** Google's own window asks which account to use. A Google sign-in joins an existing Seasons account with the same confirmed email, or opens a new one.
2. **Continue with a Solana wallet.** This takes two steps, and neither costs anything:
   - **1 Connect.** Pick the wallet from the list. Any browser-extension wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and others) is found automatically. The wallet shares only its public address.
   - **2 Sign in.** Press **Sign message**. The wallet shows a sign-in message. Signing it is free, sends no transaction and can't move funds.
   - On a phone, use the wallet app's own browser: the list offers **Open in app** for Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. On Android there is also the **Android wallet chooser**.
   - If the list says **No wallet found**, the device has no Solana wallet. Install Phantom or Solflare first, or use Google or email instead.
3. **Email and password**, under "or with email":
   - To make a new account, choose **Create an account**. The password needs at least 10 characters. Seasons emails a confirmation link, valid for an hour.
   - **Forgot password?** sends a reset link, valid for fifteen minutes.
   - Five wrong passwords lock that email out for fifteen minutes.
4. **Use a passkey.** This only signs in to an account that already has one. Add a passkey in **Settings** first.

A session lasts 30 days. **Settings** lists the account's sessions, and they can be ended one by one or all at once. Settings also adds or removes sign-in methods. The last way into an account can't be removed.

### Link the wallet that holds your $SEAS

An account shows a node's figures once the wallet holding the $SEAS is linked. After that the figures show from any device, with nothing connected.

1. Signed in, open the wallet or account menu and choose **Link a wallet**. The home page's **Link a wallet** card works too.
2. Pick the wallet. It is the same picker as for signing in.
3. Sign the free message "Link this wallet to your Seasons Terminal account." to prove the wallet is yours (**Prove this wallet is yours**). This is needed only once per wallet.

An account can link several wallets. The wallet menu switches which one is being viewed.

If the terminal says **Reconnect your wallet**, the account is fine, but this browser has no live connection to the wallet it needs to sign with. Pick that wallet again. There is no message to sign this time.

If the wallet extension is open on a different account than the one being viewed, the wallet pill shows a warning dot. Its menu offers to view that wallet instead (if it is linked), to link it, or to sign in with it.

### Get a Seasons wallet (no extension, no seed phrase)

A Seasons wallet is a Solana wallet of the person's own, kept by Turnkey. Seasons never holds its key, and it is free for the person.

1. Signed in, choose **Get a Seasons wallet**. It is on the home page's link card, in the account menu, and in Settings → Wallets.
2. Confirm it is you:
   - With a Google account, the key is that Google sign-in. Google asks once, and the browser then stays unlocked for the wallet for a week.
   - With an email account, a six-digit code is emailed. Enter it under **Confirm it's you**.
3. The wallet appears as "My Seasons wallet". It can receive $SEAS, buy $SEAS by card, and claim.

To take the wallet elsewhere, use **Export private key** in Settings, then **Show my key**. Turnkey shows the key inside its own frame, so it never passes through Seasons. It can then be imported into Phantom or Solflare ("Import private key"). Anyone with that key controls the wallet. Export it before deleting a Seasons account.

### Buy $SEAS

Press **Buy $SEAS**: in the $SEAS menu at the top, on the market card, or on the node cards. The buy window picks one path:

- **Swap in the terminal.** Shown when the wallet already holds at least 1 USDC, or about 0.017 SOL or more (0.012 SOL is kept back for fees).
  - Pick an amount. The tiles aim at a node: **To start**, **Builder node** (1,000 $SEAS), **Director node** (10,000 $SEAS), **Your next tier**.
  - Check the figures: You receive at least, Price impact, Jupiter fee, Network fee, Seasons fee.
  - Press **Swap for $SEAS** and confirm in the wallet.
  - The swap runs through Jupiter. The person's own wallet signs it, and Seasons never holds funds.
- **Pay by card.** Offered to Seasons wallets, in countries MoonPay serves, for $21 to $30,000.
  - **Continue to MoonPay** opens MoonPay in a popup, where payment and identity checks happen. The card fee is shown there.
  - Dollars arrive in the wallet as USDC first. A second step then swaps them into $SEAS, and that needs the person's own tap.
- **Other places to buy.** Always listed. It is the whole window when neither path is available.

Every $SEAS buy, sell and transfer pays the 10% transfer tax. Seasons adds no fee of its own; Jupiter's 0.1% is the only extra. The receipt shows only once the swap is confirmed on Solana. If Solana is still confirming, the window says so instead.

Common messages:

- **A little SOL is needed**: about 0.005 SOL pays the network fee.
- **The price moved**: the quote expired before it was sent, and nothing was spent. Get a new quote.
- **No route right now**: Jupiter found no route. Try another amount, or a venue.
- **Cancelled**: the person declined in their wallet, and nothing was sent.
- **The terminal stopped this swap**: Jupiter did not answer after the swap was sent, so it may still land. Check the wallet before buying again.
- **Card purchases are not available here**: the card path is closed for this country or wallet. Swap, or use a venue.

### Claim weekly $SEAS (Builders)

A Builder node (1,000–9,999 $SEAS) earns $SEAS each week and claims it. Directors have nothing to claim: their payouts land in the wallet on their own.

1. Switch to **Pro** (the Lite/Pro switch in the sidebar or the account menu) and open **My node**.
2. Once the week is published the claim card says **Claims open**. Press **Claim … $SEAS** and approve the transaction in the wallet, or confirm with the Seasons wallet.
3. A claim never expires. It costs a small Solana network fee. The very first claim also creates a small on-chain record (about 0.0008 SOL, once).

### Lite and Pro

- **Lite** is the default: a dashboard and the network.
- **Pro** is a node's workspace:
  - **My node**: payouts, claims, cost basis and tax.
  - **Tiers & NFTs**: the ladders, and how far the wallet has climbed.
  - **Network**.
  - **Pools**: the official liquidity pools.
- Pro needs a signed-in account with a wallet. A visitor who picks Pro sees what it is, then the sign-in.

### Get help

**Support** (`/support`) has **Ask Gaia**, Seasons' AI assistant, and the community on Telegram. Gaia also opens from the sidebar. Never share a seed phrase or a private key with anyone. Seasons will never ask for one.
